Job Summary
Established plaintiff-side law firm located in the Financial District of Manhattan is seeking an experienced Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join our growing litigation team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with litigation experience who enjoys handling cases from inception through trial. The successful candidate will have experience with depositions, motion practice, court appearances and trial preparation.

Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of plaintiff personal injury matters from inception through resolution.
- Draft pleadings, bills of particulars, discovery demands and responses, and motions.
- Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
- Draft and argue discovery, procedural, and summary judgment motions.
- Attend court conferences, hearings, mediations, and other court appearances.
- Prepare cases for trial, including witness preparation, exhibits, expert coordination, and trial strategy.
- Participate in trials and work closely with partners on complex litigation matters.
- Negotiate settlements while preparing every case for trial.
- Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case developments.
Skills
- Strong legal research, writing, and motion drafting skills.
- Extensive deposition and courtroom experience.
- Knowledge of New York civil practice and litigation procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent case management and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple litigation matters and meet deadlines.
- Strong negotiation, advocacy, and client communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a litigation team.

Qualifications
Required
- Plaintiff personal injury litigation experience.
- Minimum of two years of litigation experience.
- Admitted to practice and in good standing in New York.
- Experience with depositions, motion practice, and court appearances.
- Ability to independently manage an active litigation caseload.
