Randolph Trucking is looking for dependable, Full-Time Class A drivers for HOURLY paid, home-every-night, positions in Ridgeville, South Carolina.
- MIN OF 1 YEAR VERIFIABLE CDL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED *Class B bus experience will not be considered for the 1 year requirement*
- Must be able to drive manual
Responsibilities
- Transport aggregate over land to and from quarry's and customers
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform pre and post-trip inspections
- Document and log miles spent driving and fuel used
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Collect and verify delivery instructions
- Report defects, accidents or violations
Skills
- Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, etc.)
- Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.)
- Valid CDL A license
- Be at least 21 years of age
