Job Overview
We are family owned and operated, we sell Stihl, Husqvarna, RedMax, Gravely, Wright, Multiquip and many other small equipment brands. We will also service other lines as long as parts are readily available. We are seeking a skilled Small Engine Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining small engines and related equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge, experience in equipment repair, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. You will work with various tools and schematics to ensure that all engines operate efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical issues in small engines and equipment.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on various types of engines, including diesel engines.
- Utilize hand tools and soldering techniques to complete repairs.
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot engine problems.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance.
- Assist in sales by recommending services or products based on customer needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience as a service technician.
- Ability to read schematics and perform troubleshooting tasks effectively.
- Experience using hand tools and soldering equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients.
- A detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
