In this full-time, benefits-eligible role, you will lead our front-line teams, orchestrate special events, and ensure every guest leaves with a smile. What You Will Do
- Lead the Floor: Serve as the primary Manager on Duty, commanding the museum floor on weekdays and one weekend day to keep operations running perfectly.
- Champion Hospitality: Lead by example at all front-line stations, inspiring staff and greeting visitors as our ultimate goodwill ambassador.
- Fuel Special Events: Partner with leadership to plan, execute, and power museum events and private rentals.
- Master the Operations: Keep the museum engine humming by managing retail assets, balancing daily cash drawers, and securing our beautiful buildings.

Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Active Role: Standing approximately 65% of the day while walking, kneeling, reaching, and guiding others.
- Physical Tasks: Occasional sitting, stooping, crouching, crawling, and pulling. Manual dexterity required for writing.
- Lifting Ability: Ability to move, push, or lift equipment and materials up to 50 pounds.
- Dynamic Settings: Split between public spaces and office environments with occasional exposure to noise, dust, paint fumes, and temperature changes.
- Tools Used: Daily use of computers, walkie-talkies, phones, printers, photocopiers, and postage meters. Your experience with Microsoft Outlook and Office Suite a must.
- Occasional Travel: Ability to travel locally via personal vehicle or out of state via air if required.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
