Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing personalized recommendations based on their preferences.
- Manage bar operations efficiently by processing cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Develop new beverage recipes and enhance existing ones to keep offerings fresh and innovative.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and communicate with management for ordering.
- Handle multiple tasks simultaneously with excellent time management skills during busy service hours.
Experience
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining or upscale hospitality settings.
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, and spirits.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently.
- Previous food service experience with a focus on customer satisfaction and service excellence.
- Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in beverage recipe development and crafting innovative drinks is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
