Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both high and low voltage electrical systems, with a strong understanding of electrical schematics and blueprints. This role involves working on various construction sites, ensuring that all electrical installations and repairs are completed safely and efficiently.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Utilize tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with construction teams to integrate electrical systems into new builds.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they become problematic.
- Conduct high voltage installations and maintenance as required.
- Provide guidance on frame carpentry related to electrical installations when necessary.
Skills
- Proficient in high voltage and low voltage electrical systems.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Experience using voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools effectively.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to construction sites and electrical work.
- Previous experience as an industrial electrician is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
