Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-oriented Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing scheduling and appointments, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the cleanliness of the salon. As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing them with a welcoming and professional experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Receptionist Job Duties:
Customer Service Excellence:
- Greet customers with a positive and welcoming attitude.
- Maintain a professional appearance by dressing in appropriate attire.
- Ensure personal grooming is consistently neat and polished.
- Exhibit strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrate basic math skills for handling transactions and customer inquiries.
Rosy App & Register Operations:
- Ensure the register is balanced and accurate at all times.
- Schedule and book customer appointments efficiently.
- Manage walk-in customers promptly and courteously.
- Handle phone inquiries and appointments professionally.
- Keep track of customers’ seating and waiting status.
- Process payments and check out customers after services are rendered.
Supporting Stylists:
- Assist stylists with obtaining the necessary chemical and waxing products.
- Ensure that all requested products are available and organized.
Inventory Management & Stocking:
- Maintain well-stocked retail shelves for customer convenience.
- Ensure the shampoo bar is fully stocked and organized.
- Manage and organize the chemical cabinet.
- Keep the waxing room properly stocked and tidy.
Scheduling & Hours of Operation:
- Open or close the shop as scheduled.
- Work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Provide availability for flexible scheduling needs.
Cleaning & Maintenance:
- Ensure towels are cleaned, folded, and readily available.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk and waiting area.
- Regularly tidy up and clean throughout the shop.
- Perform consistent sweeping and mopping, as necessary.
- Empty trash at the loading dock at the end of each shift.
- Dust common areas to maintain a clean environment.
- Clean and wipe down windows and mirrors.
- Remove any wax spills from the floor to maintain safety and cleanliness.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Report any customer or employee complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Handle and document mall management communications and paperwork.
- Manage certified mail and other important correspondence as needed.
