Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently following established recipes and safety guidelines
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing sales transactions accurately
- Manage customer orders with enthusiasm, upselling menu items to enhance sales and customer satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace, including kitchen equipment and service areas, adhering to sanitation standards
- Handle cash register operations, process cash and card payments, and accurately process cash transactions
- Serve customers promptly while providing excellent customer service and addressing any inquiries or concerns
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including grills, fryers, ovens, and other food preparation tools
- Ensure food safety management by following proper handling procedures and sanitation protocols at all times
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness
- Support retail sales transactions when needed and contribute to a positive team environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation, quick service or fast-food restaurant environments preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food handling, safety standards, sanitation practices, and kitchen equipment operation
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Proven customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks involved in food service operations
- Culinary experience or restaurant background is a plus but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain one upon hire is preferred
