About Us
We are a family-owned olive farm and olive oil production facility. Our facility includes an olive mill that provides olive crushing, oil extraction, filtration, and other olive oil-related services to local olive growers during the annual olive harvest season.
About the Position
We are looking for a dependable, motivated individual who is interested in being trained as an Olive Oil Milling Associate.
This is a seasonal, full-time position during the olive harvest, generally running from early October through the end of December. There may be an opportunity to continue working from January through March, primarily assisting with equipment cleaning, maintenance, bottling, and other production activities.
This position requires a highly flexible schedule. During harvest season, work days and hours are determined by grower harvest activity and the volume of fruit being processed at the mill. The schedule is not a set Monday-through-Friday schedule, and employees must be prepared to work early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, extended shifts, and overtime when needed. Work hours can increase significantly during periods of peak harvest activity.
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work well with others are essential. Employees will work closely with our milling team as well as customers who bring their olives to our facility for processing. Professional, friendly, and helpful customer interaction is an important part of the position.
This is a hands-on production position involving physical labor, equipment operation, material handling, and a significant amount of cleaning. Employees must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and following established procedures and the proper order of operations.
