Job Overview
Experienced BBQ Pitmaster needed to prepare, season, smoke, and serve premium BBQ meats.
Must have hands-on experience operating smokers, monitoring temperatures, maintaining food quality, minimizing waste, and following food safety standards. Reliable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Monday-Friday, 9 AM-6 PM. Pay based on experience.
Duties
- Manage all aspects of the pit-smoking process, including preparation, cooking, seasoning, and presentation of smoked meats and dishes
- Supervise and train kitchen staff on proper smoking techniques, safety protocols, and casino food handling standards
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring adherence to casino industry regulations and quality standards
- Maintain accurate inventory levels of ingredients, supplies, and smoking equipment using Microsoft Office tools for record-keeping and reporting
- Ensure compliance with casino operations regulatory requirements related to food safety, cash handling, and guest service standards
- Monitor guest feedback and adjust recipes or procedures to enhance customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Lead conflict management efforts within the team to foster a positive work environment focused on teamwork and excellence
Pay: $16.00 - $26.00 per hour
