Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients while assisting with daily living activities and medical needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, particularly in geriatrics and hospice care settings.
- Help with mobility by assisting patients in moving from one location to another.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Support healthcare professionals in emergency situations by providing basic first aid or CPR as needed.
- Document patient progress and report any changes in condition to the nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of anatomy and vital signs monitoring is essential.
- Familiarity with emergency medicine practices is a plus.
- Experience in geriatrics, pediatrics, ICU, hospice care, or home care settings is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays if necessary.
