- Assist with patient intake
- Take patient vitals and record medical history
- Prepare exam rooms for patient visits
- Assist with medical procedures as directed by the provider
- Administer medications and injections as ordered by the provider
- Perform basic lab tests and prepare specimens for transport
- Answer patient phone calls and schedule appointments
- Manage patient records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist with patient referrals
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program
- Certification as a Medical Assistant
- Experience working in a medical office setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic medical procedures
- At least one year of expereince working in Family Practice
- Experience with Medicare Annual Wellness Visits
Shift:
- Full-Time, 40 hrs/wk
- Weekend rotation when necessay
