The Server Store is a family-owned IT hardware company that has been in business for over 30 years. We specialize in refurbished servers, enterprise hardware, and components used by businesses around the world.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys technology, communicates well, and is highly organized. In this role, you’ll help keep customer orders moving by coordinating updates, processing requests, tracking details, and working with internal teams to make sure orders are handled accurately and efficiently.
If you’ve built your own gaming PC, spent hours comparing components online, or are the person friends ask for tech advice, that background will help you understand our products and customers. Just as important, we’re looking for someone who can stay on top of details, follow through, and provide a good customer experience.
This is a fully onsite role in a fast-paced environment where you’ll learn directly from experienced team members and gain real-world experience in order coordination, customer support, sales operations, and enterprise hardware.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate customer orders from initial request through completion
- Provide customers with order updates, pricing information, and product details
- Track order status and follow up with internal teams to keep orders moving
- Process purchase orders, customer requests, and order-related documentation
- Assist with quotes, follow-ups, and general customer support
- Communicate with sales, warehouse, purchasing, and technical teams as needed
- Help resolve order issues, RMAs, and customer service concerns
- Maintain accurate records in inventory, sales, and order management systems
- Learn server hardware, internal processes, and sales operations over time
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Clear communication and follow-up skills
- Ability to manage multiple orders, requests, and priorities at once
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-based environment
- Interest in IT hardware, gaming PCs, servers, or technology
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Familiarity with computer components or hardware is preferred
- Customer service, order coordination, administrative, or tech-related experience is a plus, but not required
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
