Overview
Join our dynamic culinary team as a Kitchen Assistant, where your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a vibrant, efficient, and welcoming kitchen environment. In this role, you will support food preparation, food safety, and meal service operations to ensure high-quality dining experiences. Duties
- Assist with food preparation and cooking, following established recipes and safety guidelines to ensure quality and consistency. -Station includes cooking fried foods in Deep Fryer, grilling Burgers on griddle and making Omelettes/Scrambled Eggs on top of gas stove.
- Support meal assembly and plating, ensuring timely delivery of delicious dishes for service. -Will be for 30-50 people at times
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment
- Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation standards
- Support catering events or special meal services by preparing ingredients and serving guests as needed.
- Prep Salad Bar Daily, Bake Bread, Portion food/condiments.
Qualifications:
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, or the food industry is highly desirable
- High Stamina/High Energy/Fast Paced required
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with meal preparation techniques are advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is essential
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience will help you excel in this fast-paced environment
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a busy setting
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward delivering exceptional food service
- Food Handler Certification required (Will assist in obtaining if no certification)
