Travel rate available for candidates residing more than 50 miles from the facility.
Quality Staffing Specialists is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in a high-volume Adult Emergency Department at a Level II Trauma Center in Greensboro, NC.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced emergency department that cares for approximately 180 patients daily and offers exposure to a wide variety of medical, surgical, and trauma emergencies.

- Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-5
- STEMI-Certified Facility
- Stroke-Certified Facility
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department (ED/ER) experience
- Epic EMR experience required
- Trauma experience preferred
- Previous Charge Nurse experience preferred
- Previous Level II Trauma Center experience preferred

- Neuro Trauma
- Spinal Cord Injuries
Orthopedic & Trauma
- Orthopedic Trauma

- Emergency Trauma Care
Respiratory
- Ventilator Management
- BiPAP/CPAP Management
- Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) Interpretation
Pediatric Emergency Experience
Experience caring for:
- Head Injuries
- Near-Drowning Incidents
- Spinal Cord Injuries
Schedule
- Shift: Nights
- Hours: 7:00 PM-7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week (3x12)
- 13-week contract
Scheduling Requirements
- Float to like acuity units or lower, as needed
- Two weekend shifts every six weeks
- Holiday coverage as needed
- No call
Credentials
- Active North Carolina RN License or Compact License
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- ACLS Certification (AHA)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Preferred Certifications
- PALS (AHA)
- CPI – Nonviolent Crisis Intervention
- TNCC (Emergency Nurses Association)
