Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. In this vital role, you will operate a variety of heavy machinery to support large-scale construction projects, ensuring efficient progress and adherence to safety standards. Duties
- Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, loaders, excavators, backhoes, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, tankers, and farm machinery with precision and safety awareness.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of construction machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Handle materials effectively using material handling equipment while adhering to safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, lifting, and material transport tasks across various construction phases.
- Follow all occupational safety regulations and equipment safety procedures diligently to maintain a secure work environment.
- Coordinate with team members to execute project plans efficiently while maintaining clear communication on equipment status and site conditions.
- Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and safety inspections for accountability and compliance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating a range of construction machinery including dozers, loaders, excavators, backhoes, front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, tankers, and farm machinery.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics systems, mechanical maintenance practices, and hand tools essential for routine repairs and troubleshooting.
- Valid commercial driver’s license with experience in commercial truck driving is highly desirable.
- Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety regulations and occupational safety standards.
- Ability to perform physical tasks requiring stamina; comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Knowledge of construction materials handling techniques and equipment safety protocols.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify issues quickly and perform basic maintenance or coordinate repairs as needed.

Pay: $15.00 - $35.00 per hour
