Battle Axe Construction is in seeking a self-directed and experienced Superintendent to assist with managing job sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for project planning, coordinating, budgeting, and scheduling with the equipment manager, update project status reports, keeping jobsites flowing smoothly according to specs and timeframe, and make sure all safety meetings are being performed and that safety procedures and precautions are being practiced. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional who is organized, utilizes time management skills with the ability to communicate and work closely with Senior Management.

Answer/Monitor company phone calls, emails, and messages

Coordinates with Project Manager for project objectives

Manages communications with Job Foreman/Operators project objectives

Manages communications Truck Dispatch

Managers project schedules

Ensure all job site, Foreman’s and Crew Members pass safety checks

Manages shop and project inventory

In communication with Project Manager always concerning upcoming and ongoing projects

Self-motivated and self-directed

Ability to work closely with a senior management team

Prior experience as a Superintendent is required

Strong organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple job sites at a time

Ability to work at a fast pace, paying close attention to detail and accuracy

Knowledge of OSHA safety laws and ability to implement safety protocols
