Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field
- Current, active SLP-CCC certification
- Licensure to practice as an SLP in Minnesota (or eligibility to obtain)
- School-based experience strongly preferred
- Skilled in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech/language disorders
- Collaborative mindset and excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage caseloads effectively and document progress
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans for students
- Provide direct intervention services both individually and in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to align therapy with educational goals
- Maintain detailed and timely records of student services and progress
- Participate in IEP meetings to advocate for students’ language needs
- Adapt therapy techniques to diverse learning environments and student backgrounds
