The Fairfield Inn & Suites Downtown La Crosse is currently seeking a Laundry Attendant. An ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule, with great customer service skills and the willingness to make our guests their number one priority.
Candidates must be available for weekends and some holidays, as well as various fest dates (Oktoberfest, Irish Fest, etc.) Shifts typically start at 11am and will end around 4pm, but subject to change depending on work load.
The Laundry Attendant tasks will include sorting laundry and loading washing machines, loading dryers, folding linens, looking for imperfections, i.e. stains, tears, etc.), stocking linens closets for housekeeping, helping maintain an inventory of supplies and linens, motivating fellow employees, and creating an environment that is warm, friendly, and satisfactory to our guests. This position will primarily work in employee spaces/back of house, but an ideal candidate will be flexible in their job duties.
Attention to detail is crucial in this position, and the right candidate will not only keep their eyes open for cleanliness, but the overall condition of the property.
A minimum of 1 year of laundry experience is preferred, but not required. A positive attitude and eagerness to learn is a must.
