Human Resources Manager
Location: Vista, CA (Onsite)
Compensation: $100,000-$130,000 Base
About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Human Resources Manager to lead day-to-day HR operations while partnering closely with leadership to support business growth. This is a highly visible role that offers the opportunity to influence company culture, improve processes, and drive key HR initiatives.
Responsibilities
HR Operations & Compliance
- Manage HR operations across multiple locations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Handle employee relations, investigations, and policy administration
- Support safety programs and OSHA compliance
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts
- Partner with managers on hiring strategies
- Oversee onboarding and new hire integration
Employee Relations & Performance
- Coach managers on employee relations and performance management
- Support employee engagement and retention initiatives
- Lead performance review and development processes
Compensation & Benefits
- Administer benefits programs and leave policies
- Support compensation planning, merit increases, and bonus programs
- Partner with vendors and brokers on benefits administration
Strategic HR
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning
- Develop HR processes, systems, and reporting
- Support organizational growth and change initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience
- Strong knowledge of California employment law
- Experience in employee relations, compliance, recruiting, and HR operations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
- Manufacturing or consumer products experience
- Multi-state HR experience
- SHRM or PHR certification
