Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Sealcoating Laborer to join our Paving team. In this role, you will be an essential part of maintaining and enhancing driveway surfaces through sealcoating and related construction activities. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will allow for successful completion of outdoor projects, contributing to safer, longer-lasting pavements. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on construction projects, supporting pavement maintenance and driveway preservation efforts with a focus on quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sweeping, and applying surface treatments to ensure optimal adhesion of sealcoat material
- Mix and apply sealcoat using power tools and manual handling techniques while adhering to safety protocols
- Assist in traffic control for work zones to ensure safety for workers and motorists during construction activities
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
- Support other team members in various tasks related to driveway maintenance.
Requirements
- Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions on construction project.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not required; familiarity with FMCSA regulations is a plus
