Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and taking their orders accurately.
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate the CLOVER POS systems efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the café area, including dining spaces and kitchen equipment.
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy, ensuring proper change is given to customers.
- Assist with food handling, and restocking supplies as needed.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or a quick service & fast food restaurant is preferred.
- Culinary experience or kitchen experience is a plus, along with knowledge of food preparation techniques.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math applications.
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is essential.
