The House Coordinator works closely with the clinical staff to assure that tasks are completed. (e.g., chores, community meeting, picking up supplies, placing orders, etc.). The House Coordinator provides support to the
clinical staff and may be assigned additional tasks by the Program Director.
Client Oriented Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Organize, delegate, and prepare weekly chore lists, group schedules, and meal menu.
2. Communicate with clinical staff via the staff log.
3. Maintain close communication with the Skills Coordinator for help in tasks
needing to be completed during day shift hours.
4. Record client's chore performance weekly and complete observation notes of clients during the shift, as necessary.
5. Monitor the taking of medications by clients; document in the medication log; and assure that all medications are properly secured.
6. Complete Incident Reports, as needed.
7. Perform involuntary discharges as necessary, with an aftercare plan.
8. Participate in Case Consultations.
9. Facilitate community meetings as needed.
10. Perform observed drug screens when necessary.
11. Monitor and attend AA/NA meetings each shift.
12. Coordinate transportation for clients (i.e., AA/NA meetings, scheduled appointments, etc.).
13. Enforce Nasr Consultant Group Guidelines and administer appropriate discipline for guideline
violations such as issuing verbal and/or written warnings.
Household Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Inventory and maintain household and food supplies in coordination.
2. Plan Client Menus and order food.
3. Oversee the planning of weekend recreational activities for the residents.
4. Monitor, assign and record monthly drills and complete the fire drill log/health and safety binder in accordance with policy.
5. Maintain safe and organized medication drawers to include recording the disposal of overflow
medications quarterly.
6. Maintain Nasr Consultant Group vehicles are in good operational condition and service as
recommended.
7. Responsible for Nasr Consultant Group security during scheduled hours.
8. Remain aware of maintenance needs and communicating these needs to the Maintenance worker.
Qualifications:
Required education: High school or equivalent; Required experience: Working in a behavioral health environment: 1 year; Experience in a therapeutic environment is mandatory. A certified recovery specialist (CRS) is preferred. The individual must be familiar with drug and alcohol recovery programs.
