Maintenance Mechanic
Position Summary:
Focus Workforce Management is currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Somerville, TN.
About the Position:
The Production Maintenance Mechanic responsibilities include:
* Perform safe and efficient conduct of production maintenance operations.
* Perform daily tasks as assigned for production support as well as any special project tasks as directed by the maintenance manager.
* Responsible for performing maintenance/set up for lines and consistently following proper standard operating procedures and correctly completing needed signature verifications for related paperwork.
* Assist management in creating and improving upon procedures that will enhance maintenance efficiency.
* Perform proper documentation of completion of preventive maintenance logs and assignments.
* Maintain a safe, clean work area and enforce MCP environmental programs.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5 - 8 years experience in a manufacturing maintenance setting. With a strong preference given to those candidates with packaging maintenance
- Exceptional people and leadership skills
- Background in electromechanical troubleshooting and repair
- Background in pneumatic troubleshooting and repair
- Have a good attitude of job ownership and integrity
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.88 - $22.00 per hour
