Description:
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and motivated Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is dedicated to providing high-quality patient care, works well in a collaborative environment, and communicates effectively with both team members and clients.
Responsibilities:

Assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and surgical procedures

Perform and monitor anesthesia under veterinary supervision

Obtain and process laboratory samples (blood, urine, fecal, cytology, etc.)

Conduct radiographs and other diagnostic imaging as needed

Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed

Monitor and care for hospitalized patients, ensuring comfort and accurate treatment

Maintain accurate medical records and documentation

Educate clients on pet care, treatment plans, and medication instructions

Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked treatment area

Support patient handling and restraint with a focus on safety and low-stress techniques
Requirements:

Veterinary Technician certification or licensure preferred (CVT/LVT/RVT) or eligibility to obtain certification or 3+ years of experience

Prior experience in a veterinary clinical setting strongly preferred

Strong understanding of veterinary medical terminology and procedures

Experience with patient handling, restraint, and low-stress handling techniques

Ability to assist with anesthesia monitoring and surgical support (or willingness to be trained)

Competency in collecting and processing laboratory samples

Basic proficiency with radiography and diagnostic imaging (or willingness to learn)

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate medical records

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Excellent communication skills with both team members and clients

Compassion for animals and commitment to high-quality patient care

Ability to lift, restrain, and handle animals of varying sizes when needed

Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends or holidays if required

Proficiency with veterinary software is a plus
