Duties
- Conduct thorough medical assessments, including physical examinations and patient history reviews, to evaluate health status.
- Develop personalized care plans that incorporate preventive measures, chronic disease management, and health education tailored to individual patient needs.
- Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic and EMR systems to document clinical encounters accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate diagnostic testing including medical imaging, CT scans, and laboratory results to inform clinical decision-making.
- Manage acute and chronic conditions across outpatient settings, ensuring continuity of care through follow-up and patient education.
- Collaborate with specialists in fields such as psychiatry, endocrinology, cardiology, dermatology, and pulmonology for comprehensive patient management when needed.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives or quality improvement projects to enhance patient outcomes and adhere to NCQA standards.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution with valid licensure to practice medicine.
- Proven experience in primary care or family medicine with a strong foundation in medical terminology and physiology knowledge.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or similar platforms; experience with medical coding (CPT, ICD) is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to perform clinical procedures including suturing, basic life support (BLS), airway management, and wound care.
- Knowledge of various specialties such as pediatrics, geriatrics, obstetrics/gynecology (Ob/Gyn), internal medicine, and urgent care is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with a commitment to patient service and health coaching principles.
- Ability to work effectively in inpatient and outpatient settings; hospital experience or Level I/II trauma center experience is advantageous.

Pay: $190,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
