Everything Automotive Repairs was founded by ASE-certified technician Jimmie Perez with a simple mission: make quality auto repair affordable for everyone. What started in the 12x12 storage unit has grown, over the past 12 years, into a fully equipped 8,000 sq. ft. repair shop serving our community. The Role
We're looking for a Counter Sales & Service Writer to be the face and voice of our shop. You'll be the first person our customers talk to — in person and on the phone — and the person who makes sure their visit is smooth from estimate to pick up. This role blends customer service, sales, and light operations, so no two days look the same.
Bilingual in English and Spanish? That's a big plus — it helps us take even better care of the customers who trust us with their vehicles.
What You'll Do
- Greet customers warmly and help them navigate their automotive needs
- Provide accurate repair and service estimates
- Recommend additional services where they genuinely add value to the customer's repair experience
- Communicate clearly with technicians to make sure every job is diagnosed and handled correctly
- Answer calls, provide quotes, and capture customer contact information
- Keep service orders and customer records accurate and up to date
- Receive and stock incoming inventory, and verify deliveries against purchase orders
- Process daily and warranty labor claims with vendors and track them through to completion
- Keep the front counter clean, organized, and welcoming
- Stay sharp on our products and services so you can speak to them confidently
- Collect customer payments at day's end
- Call customers before close to confirm same-day pickup or coordinate next steps
What You Bring
- Previous experience in automotive sales or customer service (preferred)
- A working understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair processes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish (highly valued)
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment without losing attention to detail
- Familiarity with auto estimating, service writing, and handling customer questions or objections
- Good judgment and quick decision-making at the counter
- Experience with Tekmetric shop management software is a plus
