Duties
- Operate laundry equipment efficiently to process linens, towels, and guestroom textiles overnight, ensuring timely turnaround for guest needs
- Sort, fold, and organize clean laundry with precision, maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation
- Monitor laundry machines and supplies, reporting any malfunctions or shortages promptly to management
- Maintain a clean and safe laundry area by following proper safety procedures and hotel policies
- Assist with inventory management of linens and laundry supplies to optimize stock levels
- Support front desk staff by providing freshly laundered items for guest requests or special events
- Follow hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols during all operations to ensure a secure environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel operations is preferred, especially in laundry or housekeeping roles
- Strong knowledge of property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar hotel management software
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via multi-line phone systems and in multiple languages if bilingual or multilingual skills are present
- Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures, guest relations, and front desk operations is advantageous
- Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills related to customer service issues or operational challenges in a hospitality setting
- A positive attitude with strong phone etiquette and professional communication skills
