Responsibility
The Window & Door Estimator is responsible for meeting with contractors, assessing project requirements, preparing estimates, and helping clients select products that best fit their needs and budget. The ideal candidate is confident communicating with clients, organized, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-office and over-the-phone consultations
- Communicate about project details accurately for replacement and new construction projects
- Prepare detailed project estimates and proposals
- Review project specifications, plans, and scope of work
- Recommend products, materials, and installation solutions
- Follow up with prospective customers and answer questions
- Coordinate with project managers, installers, and suppliers
- Maintain accurate records within CRM and estimating software
- Stay current on product offerings, building codes, and industry trends
Qualifications
- Experience in window and door sales, estimating, construction, remodeling, or a related field required
- Strong understanding of residential construction practices
- Ability to read plans and construction documents
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating software
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
