Project Manager - Real Estate and Construction
Location - Columbia, MD - Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 remote)
Salary Information - $75,000 - $82,000 + 6,000 annual Bonus Potential (broken down and paid out quarterly
The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of the design, construction, renovation and relocation needs of all Maxim offices, as well as facilities related issues during continued office tenancy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Works with Landlords and Property Managers, as well as internal Maxim departments, to overall manage the period between lease execution and office opening, including construction, IT, purchasing, licensing, and accounting

Ensures office relocations, openings, closing and other projects occur on time, within scope, and within budget

Reviews and approves construction documents

Develops AutoCAD test-fit designs and detail-set packets for all projects and offices

Reviews and approves construction specifications and pricing

Manages the relationship with pertinent external vendors to complete job responsibilities, including signage/graphics, HVAC and other trades as necessary

Evaluates the internal processes continuously and recommends adjustments, as necessary

Establishes, monitors and updates the relocation schedule to include reporting on delivery (time and cost) accuracy and over all Cap Ex budget

Assists Real Estate Managers in addressing and resolving any facilities issues during office tenancy

Assists Real Estate team members to ensure consistent level of service from the department

Adheres to all Maxim and worksite rules, policies and procedures

Perform other duties as required/assigned
Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree required
-
At least three to five (3-5) years of experience in commercial real estate required

Basic understanding of lease terms required

Thorough understanding of construction terms required

Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office required

Excellent organizational skills preferred

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously preferred

Ability to effectively elicit from and provide information to all team members, caregivers and clients using strong communication skills preferred

Proficiency in the English language is required
