Duties
- Assist floral designers with preparing flowers, greenery, and decorative elements for arrangements for residential and commercial applications.
- Support the creation of custom floral designs for weddings and retail displays
- Help with stock management by organizing flowers, supplies, and merchandising displays
- Provide friendly customer service by answering questions and offering product recommendations
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems for sales transactions and handle cash accurately
- Contribute to store cleanliness and organization through stocking shelves and maintaining the floral department’s appearance
Experience
- Previous experience or strong interest in floral design is preferred
- Experience with retail sales, cashiering, or working with POS systems enhances your candidacy
- Excellent communication skills and organizational abilities are essential for success in this role
- Familiarity with retail math, merchandising techniques, and customer service principles will support your growth
- Prior experience in floral design or related fields will help you excel in assisting creative projects
