Job summary
We are seeking an experienced General Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) for a 13-week travel assignment in Easton, Maryland. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in general, abdominal, OB/GYN, and breast ultrasound procedures and be able to work independently without radiologist supervision.
Responsibilities
- Perform general diagnostic ultrasound examinations
- Conduct abdominal, pelvic, OB/GYN, and breast ultrasound studies
- Perform transvaginal and vascular ultrasound procedures
- Complete accurate documentation using Epic
- Float between affiliated hospital and outpatient imaging locations within Easton, MD
- Participate in on-call coverage as needed
Requirements
- 5+ years of ultrasound experience
- Travel experience required
- Community hospital experience required
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced imaging environment
- Strong experience with general, abdominal, OB/GYN, and breast imaging
Required certifications
- ARDMS
- ARDMS AB (Abdomen)
- ARDMS OB/GYN
- BLS (AHA)
Preferred experience
- Trauma Level I
- Vascular ultrasound
- Maternal fetal medicine
- Breast ultrasound procedures
- GE ultrasound equipment
Assignment details
- Patient ratio: 1:1
- Call: As needed
- Weekend requirement: None
- Float: Required between hospital and outpatient imaging center (approximately 1 mile apart)
