Responsibilities
- Engage with customers in retail or commercial settings to promote products and services effectively.
- Build lasting client relationships through excellent customer service and clear communication.
- Identify opportunities for upselling additional products or services to maximize sales potential.
- Manage route driving responsibilities, ensuring timely delivery of goods while adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
- Assist with merchandising efforts to ensure product displays are attractive and well-organized.
- Conduct heavy lifting safely during inventory management, stock replenishment, and transportation tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, pricing adjustments, and client interactions.
- Follow safe lifting practices and proper vehicle operation procedures during automobile transportation or commercial truck driving duties.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service roles; retail store experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple routes and client accounts efficiently.
- Basic math skills for calculating pricing, discounts, and profit margins accurately.
- Knowledge of commercial driving, route planning, and safe driving practices in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction, negotiation, and team collaboration.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and follow safe lifting practices consistently.
- Familiarity with merchandising techniques and automobile transportation processes is desirable.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial truck driving or commercial driving is preferred.
