JOB DESCRIPTION
- use general office software daily, enter data, and type with a computer
- spreadsheets preparation and development
- communicate with customers and suppliers
- library and document filing maintenance
- file and organize and complete work thoroughly
- other tasks that may be assigned to you
QUALIFICATION CHECKLIST
- Work experience -- none required if you are smart and hard-working
- 4-year college degree is helpful
- Pleasant personality
- A customers-first attitude
- Work experience in manufacturing is helpful
- Ability to work with others in a cooperative manner
EDUCATION & BACKGROUND
- Bachelor's degree (4-year) in a related field is preferred, but not necessary
- Knowing a foreign language, specifically, French, German, Italian, Chinese, or Japanese is a plus
- You must be able to use basic office software (spreadsheets, word processors, etc.)
- You must maintain excellent attendance while at ORX
- Proficiency with WordPerfect is a BIG plus, but don't worry, you'll learn it here if you don't already know it
- If you are the primary caregiver for children in your family, (unpaid) time away from work can be granted when needed

This is a starting wage. We expect you to progress with time worked here.
ORX
Our company was founded in 1979. Since then, we have experienced steady growth. We are a world-respected manufacturer. We need world-class employees.
There are currently approximately 70 total employees, including 24 office workers. We manufacture and maintain wheel set assemblies, axles, trucks, and related components for all types of rail vehicles.
If you've ridden the subway in New York City, or taken the train in Atlanta, New Jersey, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, or Miami, or ridden on Amtrak's Acela High Speed train, you have ridden on wheel sets that came from our shop.
