Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage reservations, and seat guests efficiently to optimize table turnover.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted.
- Provide attentive guest services by answering questions about menu items, making recommendations, and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including resetting tables quickly and ensuring all guest areas meet food safety standards.
- Process payments accurately, handle cash and credit transactions with proper phone etiquette and professionalism.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.
- Uphold hospitality standards by demonstrating excellent communication skills, guest relations, and organizational skills throughout every shift.
Experience
- Prior host/hostess experience or food service experience preferred but not required; we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn.
- Strong customer service background with a focus on creating positive guest interactions.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is a plus, especially in guest relations and serving roles.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper restaurant procedures is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, organizational ability, and professional phone etiquette are essential for success in this role.
