Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Runner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations by assisting with the delivery of materials and products to multiple job sites . This position requires a proactive individual who is capable of handling various tasks related to material handling, organization and is dependable.
Responsibilities
- Material Pickup & Delivery - Pick up and deliver materials to multiple job sites. THIS REQUIRES A CLEAN DRIVING RECORD.
- Route Planning - Identify material needs for each site and create efficient pathing to complete runs.
- Trash & Hauling - Assisting with site cleanup and organization, must have experience in pulling a trailer.
- Basic Contracting Skills - Assist with demolition, cleaning, digging and prepping sites for team.
- On-Site Learning - Once deliveries and errands are complete, work alongside skilled workers to learn the trade.
- Warehouse Skills - Maintain organization within the warehouse by properly storing materials, tools and keeping work areas clean.
- Vehicle Maintenance & Care - Regularly inspect assigned company vehicles for any maintenance needs.
- Handle heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols established by OSHA.
Requirements
- Must have a clean driving record and adequate experience.
- Ability to operate company vehicles and hauling a trailer is a MUST.
- Excellent communication skills. Must speak and understand English clearly.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
- Minimum 1 year of construction or related hands-on work experience.
- Ability to lift heavy items consistently and work on your feet most of the day.
- Strong organizations skills and ability to plan efficient routes.
- Dependable, punctual and safety conscious.
