Ocean’s is opening soon on 8th Street at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront, and we’re looking for servers to join our opening team.
Ocean’s will be a modern coastal restaurant with fresh food, craft cocktails, and a beautiful beachside atmosphere. We’re looking for servers who are friendly, reliable, polished, and able to create a warm, memorable experience for every guest.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for servers who are:
- Friendly, energetic, and guest-focused
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
- Able to communicate clearly with guests and staff
- Willing to learn the food menu, cocktail menu, and daily specials
- Available nights, weekends, and holidays
- Excited to be part of a new restaurant opening
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service
- Take orders accurately and enter them into the POS system
- Learn menu items, cocktails, specials, and restaurant standards
- Answer guest questions and make recommendations
- Run food and drinks as needed
- Keep tables and service areas clean and organized
- Work with bartenders, hosts, bussers, and kitchen staff to keep service smooth
- Follow all food and beverage safety guidelines

Requirements
- Previous serving experience preferred
- Weekend and holiday availability required
- Must be dependable, professional, and guest-focused
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods during service
Pay: $150.00 - $300.00 per hour
