Job Summary
We are seeking energetic and reliable Lawn Care Crew Members to join our outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and beautifying various grounds, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in landscape maintenance while contributing positively to our community environment.
Duties
- Operate grounds maintenance equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and power tools to keep lawns and landscaped areas well-groomed
- Perform landscaping tasks such as planting, pruning, edging, and mulching to enhance outdoor spaces
- Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers and hoses for optimal watering efficiency
- Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and health of landscape features
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents or injuries
- Assist with snow plowing and hardscape maintenance during seasonal weather conditions
- Support general grounds upkeep including debris removal, ground leveling, and minor construction or repair projects
Experience
- Prior outdoor work experience or landscaping background preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Mechanical knowledge related to lawn care equipment and power tools is advantageous
- Familiarity with plant identification, horticulture practices, and pesticide management is a plus
- Experience operating grounds maintenance or landscaping equipment safely and effectively is desired
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina and attention to detail
