Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Demolition Supervisor to lead and oversee a 5-7 person crew for an interior demolition project. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of demolition techniques, and relevant safety standards, including OSHA regulations. Duties
- Supervise daily demolition activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with project managers and super intendants
- Manage site safety programs in compliance with OSHA regulations, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections.
- Monitor project progress against schedules and budgets; adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials in accordance with environmental regulations.
- Lead supervision of on-site teams, providing guidance on best practices.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify work quality and adherence to specifications.
Experience
- Proven leadership experience supervising demolition or heavy construction projects on-site.
- Demonstrated ability in construction site experience with a focus on safety compliance and quality assurance.
- Supervising experience with a track record of leading diverse teams effectively.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards related to demolition activities is essential.
