Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Customer Experience Associate specializing in the cannabis industry! Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with product selection
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and debit card processing
- Educate customers on product features, effects, and proper usage to enhance their experience and promote responsible consumption
- Upsell complementary products by identifying customer needs and offering tailored recommendations
- Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with fresh inventory
- Conduct regular stock checks, assist with inventory management, and support product merchandising efforts
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or scheduling appointments to ensure clear communication
- Supervise or assist in training new team members on sales techniques, POS operation, and customer service standards
Requirements
- Previous retail sales experience, preferably in grocery stores or similar environments involving customer interaction prederred
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain product details clearly and confidently
- Knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to foster positive interactions
- Basic math skills for cash register operations and retail math calculations
- Experience with merchandising, stocking shelves, and maintaining store presentation standards
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Pay: From $17.50 per hour
