General Assembler / Shop Helper

Esbee Sign Systems is a signage company in Houston that specializes in designing, fabricating, and installing quality signage solutions. From vinyl graphics and dimensional letters to ADA-compliant signage and large custom projects, we take pride in delivering work that represents our clients and our brand at the highest level.
We are currently looking for a General Assembler / Shop Helper to join our production team. Prior signage experience is not required. This position is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic who is dependable, organized, and eager to learn a skilled trade from the ground up.

Responsibilities
- Perform general assembly tasks including cutting, drilling, and preparing sign components.
- Assist production, painting, and installation teams as priorities shift throughout the day.
- Support the installation team with on-site sign installations when assigned.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment always
- Handle materials, tools, and equipment with care and return all items to their designated locations
- Help with inventory organization and restocking of shop supplies
- Follow instructions from supervisors and team leads and complete all tasks efficiently
- Work both in the shop and at job sites as needed
Requirements
- Prior signage experience is required, even if it's just at a beginner level
- Strong work ethic and a reliable, team-first attitude
- Clean, organized, and take pride in maintaining the workspace
- Punctual and dependable with consistent attendance
- Able to follow directions and take initiative when tasks need to be completed
- Flexible and comfortable shifting between tasks based on team needs
- Ability to lift materials and perform hands-on assembly work for extended periods
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with others
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in assembly, production, warehouse, or construction environments
- Interest in learning the signage industry and developing into a specialized role
