Personnel Placements, LLC is currently seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians for a manufacturing client located in Olive Branch, MS. This role supports production and shipping operations by minimizing downtime through preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment and facility systems. Ideal candidates will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities, specifically on older factory equipment. This is not a facilities or apartment maintenance position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow OSHA safety standards and prioritize safety in all tasks.
- Read and interpret mechanical and electrical prints, schematics, and diagrams.
- Utilize tools such as calipers, meters, pressure gauges, and other measuring devices.
- Execute work orders and adhere to preventative maintenance schedules.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Perform basic PLC, ladder logic, and motor drive diagnostics.
- Support facility systems including HVAC units, chillers, compressors, and plumbing.
- Analyze maintenance data and participate in continuous improvement efforts.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proven mechanical and electrical experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read technical documentation and schematics.
- Basic math skills and the ability to interpret graphs and charts.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, team-oriented attitude.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and safety-focused.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently required to stand, reach, handle tools, and use hands/fingers.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
- Vision requirements include close, distance, and depth perception.
