American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience and an active SC or Multi-State Compact PT license.

Hospital-based outpatient rehab unit setting

Day shift schedule: 5x8 hours, 8:00am-4:30pm

No weekend or on-call requirements

Possible holiday coverage required

Possible floating within scope to like units or sister facilities

Uses Epic for charting

Minimum 1 year of experience required

BLS certification required (AHA only)

SC or Multi-State Compact Physical Therapist License required at start of contract, if applicable

Prior travel experience required

Skills include assessment, assistive devices, pain assessment, skin integrity, documentation, evaluation, and plan of care

Experience with patient/family education and safety and injury prevention

Main responsibilities include patient assessment, evaluation, and development of plans of care in an outpatient setting

Candidates must live outside a 60-mile radius of the facility to be considered; local candidates are not accepted

Previous MUSC perm staff or PRN employees must be separated from the system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler

All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application, with approval based on facility needs

Facility may cancel up to 1 shift per 2-week period

During hurricane season (June-November, peak August-September) employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams
