Acacia: A Place for Personal & Family Development is seeking a fully licensed clinical social worker to join our established group psychotherapy practice in Kalamazoo. We have three positions available as we expand our services to children, adolescents, adults, and families throughout Southwest Michigan.
This position may be a good fit for a therapist who wants the autonomy and flexibility of private practice while still having the support, consultation, referrals, and administrative structure of a group practice.
About Acacia
Acacia provides long-term, relationship-centered psychotherapy informed by psychodynamic theory, attachment, trauma, interpersonal neurobiology, developmental science, and culturally responsive care. Our work emphasizes curiosity, reflection, relational safety, and lasting psychological growth rather than symptom management alone.
We value clinicians who can think deeply about their work, remain open to complexity, and use the therapeutic relationship as part of the treatment. At the same time, therapists have considerable freedom to develop their own clinical style, specialty areas, and caseload.
