We are seeking a dedicated and energetic School Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities
- Clean hallways, offices, lunchrooms, and common areas.
- Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly.
- Clean and maintain restrooms.
- Wash and put away cleaning supplies, equipment, and other items as needed.
- Assist with setting up and cleaning up the lunchroom, setting up and cleaning up after school events, meetings, and activities.
- Monitor and report maintenance, safety, plumbing, electrical, heating, or other building issues to the appropriate supervisor.
- Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs, painting, replace light bulbs and perform other basic maintenance tasks when qualified.
- Help maintain sidewalks, entrances, and outdoor areas as needed, including snow or ice removal when required, cut grass and weeds, clean any garbage around the building.
- Assist with moving furniture, supplies, deliveries, and equipment.
- Keep custodial closets and storage areas clean, organized, and properly stocked.
- Help ensure the school remains safe and presentable for students, staff, and visitors.
- Perform other duties as assigned by school administration.
