Duties
- Greet pet owners warmly, check-in and check-out pets efficiently, and answer all customer inquiries with enthusiasm
- Perform pet bathing services including bathing, coat styling, nail trimming, and basic grooming tasks
- Handle animal restraint safely during grooming procedures to ensure pet and staff safety
- Maintain a clean, organized grooming area and reception space to promote a professional environment
- Communicate effectively with pet owners about grooming needs, pet behavior, and aftercare instructions
- Support Pet Stylists staff with basic animal handling tasks if needed
- Assist with heavy lifting of supplies or animals when necessary to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements
- Prior experience in pet grooming, dog handling, or animal care is highly preferred
- Knowledge of veterinary procedures or experience as a veterinary technician or assistant is a strong plus
- Familiarity with pet nail trimming, animal restraint techniques, and general pet grooming skills
- Strong communication skills to engage confidently with pet owners and team members
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large dogs or equipment
- Experience with dog training or equine handling is advantageous but not required
- Passion for animal welfare and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, energetic, and detail-oriented with a positive attitude toward teamwork
