Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Tile Setter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of tile and related materials in residential, commercial, and restoration projects. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute tile installations.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary adhesives or mortar for optimal tile adhesion.
- Install tiles on floors, walls, backsplashes, and other surfaces using hand tools and power tools with precision and care.
- Ensure all work complies with building installation safety standards and industry regulations.
- Perform caulking, trimming, fixture installation, and water damage restoration as needed to complete projects seamlessly.
- Handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy materials safely through proper manual handling techniques.
- Conduct floor care and maintenance post-installation to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal.
Experience
- Proven construction site experience with a focus on tile laying, flooring installation, or related building material installation.
- Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans accurately.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, carpentry basics, and concrete finishing techniques.
- Experience in restoration industry projects or remodeling is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of building material safety compliance and construction estimating processes.
- Hands-on experience with flooring installation, caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, buffing, and general handyman tasks is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently on construction sites while maintaining high safety standards.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
