Job Summary
We are seeking an Enterprise Architect who will support CA Govt Agency in developing and maintaining MITA-aligned enterprise architecture, technical architecture roadmaps, technology portfolios, interoperability strategies, and enterprise governance frameworks. The role requires expertise in healthcare architecture, enterprise modernization, and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop enterprise architecture frameworks and roadmaps.
- Create current-state and future-state architecture models.
- Support MITA Technical Architecture initiatives.
- Lead portfolio management and technology strategy development.
- Conduct business outcome analysis and architecture assessments.
- Support cloud, interoperability, API, identity management, and analytics initiatives.
- Develop architecture standards, governance processes, and reusable solution patterns.
Mandatory Qualifications (MQs) - MUST HAVE
- Minimum 3 years using Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as:
- FEAF
- CEAF
- MITA
- TOGAF
- Zachman
- SOA
- PEAF
- Minimum 5 years Enterprise Architecture experience.
- Minimum 3 years strategic planning and performance measurement experience.
- Minimum 5 years performing current-state assessments and target architecture development.
- Minimum 5 years enterprise portfolio management and roadmap development experience.
Desirable Qualifications (DQs)
- Bachelor's degree.
- Process redesign methodologies (BPR, Six Sigma, TQM).
- Sparx Enterprise Architect experience.
- California Health & Human Services systems experience (SAWS, MEDS, CalHEERS).
- Enterprise Architecture certification (TOGAF, FEAF, etc.).
- MITA initiative experience.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Pay: $60.00 - $75.00 per hour
