EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Provides instruction to school children regarding safe movement across city streets at assigned intersections. Instructs school children to wait at curbs for breaks in traffic. Escorts children across streets and halting traffic, as required.Reports persons or suspicious individuals found loitering near school grounds.Reports traffic accidents involving school children to Police Department staff and school administrators. Reports dangerous road conditions and missing or broken traffic signs to appropriate staff. Obtains and reports vehicle license numbers for traffic violators.Provides information and recommendations to supervisor regarding potential safety concerns at assigned locations.Performs other related duties, as assigned.
