Duties
- Perform comprehensive grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling of dogs according to breed standards and customer preferences
- Handle pets with care and confidence, utilizing animal restraint techniques to ensure safety for both animals and yourself
- Provide pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, coat conditioning, and other pet grooming treatments with precision and compassion
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming requests, provide advice on pet coat styling, and discuss any health concerns observed during grooming
- Maintain a clean and sanitized grooming area within the mobile setup, ensuring all tools are properly disinfected after each use
- Manage pet handling during grooming sessions, demonstrating excellent animal handling skills and patience
- Assist with pet care routines such as feeding or administering basic veterinary-related tasks if needed (e.g., veterinary technician or assistant experience)
Experience is preferred, but not required. We're looking for either an experienced pet groomer ready to hit the ground running, or a motivated individual with a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and a genuine love for dogs. If you're willing to learn, we're willing to train the right candidate.
